Starts this year with a weekend in Donegal - 17 - 19 September 2010
The Young Adults Group meets to discuss secular media from a Christian point of view. From time to time we also discuss Christian sources. Recent discussion topics have included the films ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘Crash’ and ‘United 93’, the books ‘the Kite Runner’ and ‘From Witchcraft to Christ’, U2’s album ‘How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb’, and the play ‘the Screwtape Letters’. The Young Adults group is aimed at people in their late teens to thirties, but anyone who is interested is more than welcome to come along. We meet once a month, in the manse, after the evening service, and also try to get together to watch the films / plays that we are going to discuss. We also have social events such as BBQs and Christmas ‘grub crawls’. Information about discussion topics and meetings etc. is circulated via email.
